This Sunday 11th June, Benalmádena will celebrate Corpus Christi, a gorgeous festivity full of colour and amazing aromas thanks to a spectacular carpet of flowers laid on the streets by the villagers.
This beautiful festivity is celebrated in many Andalusian villages sixty days after Easter Sunday; however, Benalmadena Pueblo’s rendition is now regarded as one of the most beautiful in the province, attracting many visitors.
From tomorrow, 25th May, until 4th June, fast-food lovers, specifically those who enjoy a good burger, can enjoy ‘The Champions Burger’, a gastronomic festival held at the Cruise Terminal in Malaga Port.
Malaga is the last stop (before the grand finale) of a festival that has already toured five Spanish cities. In each city, the audience votes for their favourite burgers – from those they choose to try, valuing the bread, meat, combinations of ingredients, presentation and originality of each.

Located in a large marquee in Malaga’s fairground (next to the Conference and Exhibition Centre) the Dinosaurs Tour exhibition will feature 22 life-size animatronic dinosaurs simulating the real-life movements and behaviours of these fascinating prehistoric creatures. ‘La Noche en Blanco’ (translated it means Sleepless Night) has established itself as one of Málaga city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 20th May 2023 – from 7:00 pm to 01:00 am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to a fantastic selection of free cultural activities.
This year’s event will feature 143 different activities and spread out over more than 68 different locations throughout the city. All the activities are grouped into different categories and themes:
Concert season is in full swing on the Costa del Sol. Benalmádena Marina is getting ready to host another edition of a popular gastronomic event… the Food Truck Experience. It’s the fifth time this unique culinary experience – which is having great success in other towns and cities – is celebrated here.
The skies of Malaga will be full of colour the weekend of the 29th & 30th April for the city’s first International Kite Festival.
This stunning visual spectacle will take place on the beaches of El Palo and Pedregalejo, on the eastern side of the city and promises to be a fun weekend for locals and visitors alike.
The event is completely free for spectators to enjoy – although you may wish to splash out on a few sardines and cold beers in one of the fabulous local ‘chiringuitos’ 😊.
