During the months of July and August, Benalmadena town hall has once again organized a special programme called “Cultura en la Calle” (Culture in the streets), an impressive selection of free cultural shows in different locations around the municipality (Benalmadena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Costa) You’ll be able to enjoy entertainment in the following locations: Plaza Adolfo Suárez (Pueblosol), Paloma Park, Plaza de Andalucía, Plaza de Alguacil, Calle Las Flores and the area in front of Bil-Bil Castle (just a few minutes walk from Sunset Beach Club).

A Fun-Packed Week at The San Juan Fair in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena

Feria San Juan Benalmadena

The San Juan Fair in Arroyo de la Miel is back again this year with a full programme of events which kicks of this Friday 23rd June!

This year we’ll be able to enjoy the amazing firework display on San Juan night (23rd June) as well as the traditional bonfires all along the beaches. The popular ‘Casetas’ are back in the main fairground every night as are all the fairground attractions and live music concerts. The day fair will also provide hours of entertainment with live music and dancing featuring local artists.

If you don’t mind heights, this is a definite must! A 15-minute ride to the top of the Calamorro Mountain behind Benalmadena for some of the most amazing views. Make sure you also watch the amazing birds of prey show!

Corpus Christi Celebrations Flood the Streets of Benalmádena with Flower Petals

This Sunday 11th June, Benalmádena will celebrate Corpus Christi, a gorgeous festivity full of colour and amazing aromas thanks to a spectacular carpet of flowers laid on the streets by the villagers.


This beautiful festivity is celebrated in many Andalusian villages sixty days after Easter Sunday; however, Benalmadena Pueblo’s rendition is now regarded as one of the most beautiful in the province, attracting many visitors.

The Champions Burger: In search of the best burger in Spain

From tomorrow, 25th May, until 4th June, fast-food lovers, specifically those who enjoy a good burger, can enjoy ‘The Champions Burger’, a gastronomic festival held at the Cruise Terminal in Malaga Port.

Malaga is the last stop (before the grand finale) of a festival that has already toured five Spanish cities. In each city, the audience votes for their favourite burgers – from those they choose to try, valuing the bread, meat, combinations of ingredients, presentation and originality of each.

Dinosaurs Tour in Málaga: See Life-Sized Animated Dinosaurs

Jurassic Expo in MalagaIf you’re planning on visiting the Costa del Sol over the next few weeks and you have kids (or are interested in dinosaurs) you might want to pay a visit to the Dinosaurs Tour exhibition taking place in Málaga from the 20th May 2023 to the 4th June 2023.

Located in a large marquee in Malaga’s fairground (next to the Conference and Exhibition Centre) the Dinosaurs Tour exhibition will feature 22 life-size animatronic dinosaurs simulating the real-life movements and behaviours of these fascinating prehistoric creatures. Cudeca Walkathon 2023: Raising Funds for the Cancer Hospice

On Saturday 3rd June 2023, the promenade in front of Sunset Beach Club in Benalmádena will become the meeting point for another edition of the Cudeca Walkathon

Every year, we here at Sunset Beach Club provide our unconditional support to this fantastic event which aims to raise awareness for the incredible work the Cudeca Foundation does for Cancer patients here on the Costa del Sol. The funds raised during the Walkathon also allow for the continued palliative care the Cudeca hospice offers to more than 1400 cancer patients and their families totally free of charge.

‘La Noche en Blanco’ in Malaga: A Cultural Festival with 143 Free Activities

‘La Noche en Blanco’ (translated it means Sleepless Night) has established itself as one of Málaga city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 20th May 2023 – from 7:00 pm to 01:00 am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to a fantastic selection of free cultural activities

This year’s event will feature 143 different activities and spread out over more than 68 different locations throughout the city. All the activities are grouped into different categories and themes:

Concerts on the Costa del Sol: A Full List of This Summer’s Top Live Acts


Concert season is in full swing on the Costa del Sol. Many of our guests like to know what’s going on up and down the Coast as they often like to get out and experience some of the great nightlife we have on offer in this wonderful part of the world and a good concert is the perfect excuse for a great night out.

Yes, we do have a great entertainment programme on-site at Sunset Beach Club, with live music, tribute bands and musicals; however, sometimes even we can’t compete with the likes of Robbie Williams, Tom Jones or The Black Eyed Peas!
