Our animation team are working hard on another amazing activities and entertainment programme, and we’ve got a few new surprises in store for you this Summer too… Our New Sunset Plaza shopping area, our Aloha Bar, Ben & Jerry’s® Ice cream truck, newly refurbished Salitos Bar, new shows and lots more!

On the 16th May, the 1st Edition of Mahou Pizzas Fest kicks off. This new gastronomic festival will seek to discover the best pizza in Malaga.
Until Sunday, May 18, 10 restaurants in the city (see list below) will compete with two types of pizza, their gourmet specialty and their most classic pizza (on the event’s website you can see photos and descriptions of each pizza that will compete for the title).
The event will take place at the cruise terminal in Málaga Port.

‘La Noche en Blanco’ (translated, this means Sleepless Night) has established itself as one of Málaga city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 20th May 2025 – from 8:00 pm to 01:00 am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to a fantastic selection of free cultural activities.
This year’s event will feature 150 different activities spread out over more than 90 different locations throughout the city. All the activities are grouped into different categories and themes:
- Street Performances
- Art, Museums and Exhibitions
- Performing Arts
- Audiovisual Arts
- Music & Dance
- Nochecita en Blanco (Special activities for kids)

Benalmadena is home to the largest butterfly park in Europe. This 2000 square metre installation was built to resemble a traditional Thai building and is now a favourite visitor attraction amongst locals and tourists alike.
Since opening to the public in 2011, the Butterfly Park has been backed by the Benalmadena Town Hall, which provided the plot on which the park is built. This unique initiative has undoubtedly helped to strengthen Benalmadena’s position as the Costa del Sol’s leading resort for family holidays.
The Butterfly Park’s main building includes a glassed tropical garden which has a surface area of over 900 square metres and is 8 metres high; this is where visitors can experience the beauty of more than 1500 exotic butterflies in full flight.

Rules for travelling to most European countries have changed.
From 2025 (Probably the second half of the year), From the end of 2026 (The start date has been delayed again until the new EES has been properly introduced), travellers from more than 60 visa-exempt countries (see image below to see if your country is included) will need to have a special travel authorisation, a valid ETIAS, (European Travel Information & Authorisation System) to enter 30 European countries for a short stay.
