Under the slogan ‘Rumbo al Puerto 2025’ (Heading to the Port 2025) the Town Hall’s Department of Commerce and the Port Authorities have prepared a very complete Activities Calendar in the Marina for this month of February.
The fun begins this weekend with the performance of ‘Rock Cirk’ on Saturday and Sunday (you can check the schedule in the poster below). The show starring the Rolabola company, winner of the National Circus Award in 2017, will combine circus performances with rock music: fun for the whole family!

From Saturday, 30th November until 15th February, you can enjoy a unique experience in Málaga, the Lantern Festival.
Inspired by the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival, which marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations, the Lantern Festival is a cultural and artistic event featuring more than 600 large handmade lanterns illuminated by over 4000 lights.

The white village of Mijas has a hidden secret which for the last few years has been delighting chocolate lovers from all over the world… We’re referring to Mayan Monkey Mijas, a fabulous chocolate factory where you can take part in workshops to make your own sweet creations!

From the 15th to the 17th September Benalmadena will host a new edition of its Oktoberfest Beer Festival.
This fun concept has been highly successful in other towns along the Costa del Sol and now returns to Benalmadena for 3 days of fun and the best beers! The event takes place in Plaza Adolfo Suárez (Pueblo Sol).
This Beer Festival will bring together the essence of the world-famous Oktoberfest celebrations and the hospitality of Benalmadena and its citizens. Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to sample more than 20 different beers from Germany and other parts of the world, and we mustn’t forget the delicious and typical German foods on offer… Roast pork, a wide variety of sausages, sauerkraut and pretzels to name but a few!

Although we enjoy approximately 320 days of sunshine a year here in Benalmadena, there are those odd days when the heavens open and you have to make use of the dreaded umbrella!
On these rare rainy days, we often get guests asking for tips and ideas on what to do on a wet day. Thankfully Benalmadena is not all about sun, sea and beaches; there are plenty of interesting places to visit and things to do…Here’s a list of 11 ideas to keep you busy in Benalmadena (and the surrounding area) when it rains.
#1: Visit the Marina
Jump on the bus (nº110 or 120) or grab a taxi (Both stop just outside the hotel) and head down to the Marina. You’ll find lots of great restaurants to enjoy a lovely lunch and can also visit the popular Sea Life Aquarium with its fascinating range of sea creatures including sharks, stingrays and a giant Pacific octopus.
