The weather forecast isn’t looking too good for the weekend but that wont stop the thousands of visitors expected to descend on the Marina for its annual Sea Food Fair (Feria del Marisco). It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the best fresh seafood accompanied by an ice cold beer!
From Thursday 19th March – and until Sunday 22nd March – Benalmádena Marina will host the 7th edition of this increasingly popular Sea Food Fair. (more…)

Puerto Marina, Benalmadena
This year (2015) Benalmadena Marina – also known as Puerto Marina – is set to become the port with the most varied leisure and entertainment programme in all Andalucia.
Benalmadena Town Hall and the Association of Business Owners in the Marina have put together a new plan to energize the Marina and turn it into a true theme park. To fulfil this challenging objective, they’ve organised a large number of activities and events to take place during the spring and autumn seasons, activities which all have one clear theme: The sea! This Thursday the 24th July sees the start of the 2nd edition of Benalmadena’s Great Beer Festival. Once again, this fun event takes place in the Marina and will be open to the public until Sunday the 3rd August.
All visitors to the Beer Festival will have the opportunity to sample the best wheat and barley beer (König Ludwid Weissbier) as well as taste some traditional German dishes including: red and white sausages, roast pork knuckles, pretzels, sauerkraut or flamenkuchen (german pizza). (more…)

Keeping warm with the thermal capes...
They say it’s “The Coolest Place in Spain”, literally! With temperatures inside its frozen walls reaching a chilling -14ºC Boal’s Ice Bar in Benalmadena Marina is actually Spain’s first ice bar and an extremely popular destination for tourists and locals looking for a fun and unique experience.
Everything in the bar is made of ice: The walls, the bar, the seats, the sculptures and even some of the glasses (the ones used for shots) are made of ice! There’s a new and somewhat different event for you this weekend… activities and entertainment which are sure to thrill children and adults alike: The Sailor’s Market in Benalmadena Marina!
This is the first the Sailor’s Market (Mercado Marinero) is being held in Benalmadena and promises fun and laughter for all who visit over the weekend.
Here’s what you can expect:-
- Parades and street performers (musicians, fire eaters, etc)
- Fun characters such as the Pirate Captain and his buccaneers!
- Variety of workshops
- Special children’s attractions
- Theatre sketches
- Children’s games
The fun begins tomorrow evening – 16th september at 7pm and continues on Saturday the 17th and Sunday 18th from 11am to 2.30pm and 7pm to 1.00am.
