In the afternoon of Sunday 5th January, kids all over Spain will be lining the streets of all the main towns and cities to watch the traditional Three Kings Parades.

Although not the high season here in Benalmadena, Christmas time offers lots of interesting things to keep the whole family entertained.
Our guests often ask us for recommendations on things to do at this time of year so we’ve decided to put together this list which includes activities and specific places you can visit during the holidays. Although the title of this post specifically states Benalmadena, you’ll find that our list wanders a little further down the Coast; that being said, all of these places are well connected by public transport.

If you’re planning on visiting the Costa del Sol this Christmas, you’ve got to visit Málaga City Centre to see the stunning Christmas Light display and show in the city’s famous Calle Larios as well as other colourful decorations throughout the city centre.
Christmas is just a few weeks away and we’re ploughing into the Christmas spirit here at Sunset Beach Club. Our decorations are up and we’ve got some great shows lined up in our Moonlight Theatre over the next couple of weeks.
Christmas is a time for giving and we are delighted to collaborate with the following shows which will contribute all proceeds to charity.

On Saturday 6th December, our resident showman, Ricky Lavazza will be presenting ‘Ricky’s Christmas Cracker’. Those of you who know Ricky, or have seen him perform, will know that he gives it all on stage and this Christmas show will be no exception. Get into the Christmas spirit next weekend and come and watch the kids from Club DanSing Performing Arts Club put on a very special show for you: a slightly different pantomime… “Cinderella, True Loves Kiss! A Pantomime with a Twist!”.
Kids aged 3 to 22 will take to the stage of our Moonlight Theatre and fill your afternoon with a fun and entertaining mix of acting, singing and dancing. We’re told the show is great fun and there will be lots of audience participation so make sure you mark the date on your calendars… Sunday 15th December 2013 at 4pm!
Tickets are just €5 per person and kids under the age of 15 can enter for free.
