After a rather wet start to the new season, we’re delighted to announce that our beach club, Luna Beach, and chill-out bar, Salitos are now both open daily!
If you’ve never been before, Luna Beach Club, is located just 400 metres from Sunset Beach Club hotel in a secluded beach called Torrevigía (Just below the Torrequebrada Hotel). Recently awarded a coveted ‘blue flag’, it’s one of Benalmadena’s best kept secrets and a great place for a family beach day.

Spring is in the air and at Sunset Beach Club we’re busy preparing for 4 big singing and dancing events taking place here during April and May.
On the 16th April we welcome back the Spanish Association of Barbershop Singers (SABS) for ‘En Armonia’, their annual convention. This is the third time in the last 4 years that SABS chooses Sunset Beach Club for their convention and, looking at the weekend programme, they’re in for a fun packed weekend full of activities and contests. This Saturday the 1st November (2014), Ricky Lavazza, one of the Costa del Sol’s most popular and highly recognized entertainers (and one of our resident performers) will be taking to the stage in our Moonlight Bar for a fabulous evening of music and entertainment in aid of the Tomas Leighton Care Charity.
All proceeds raised will go towards helping Tomas who was born blind, with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. For more information about the charity and to learn about learn about this very special boy, please take a look at the official website at www.tlc-charity.com. (more…)

It’s probably one of the catchiest songs of the year and certainly one of the songs with most versions on Youtube! ‘Happy’ is the song that gets everyone in a good mood and dancing.
The staff at Sunset Beach Club are a happy bunch so we thought we’d put together our very own video-version of ‘Happy’. It didn’t take too much convincing to get team members onboard with the project and we soon had all the dancing stars who would feature in the video.
We had a professional videographer come in to do the filming (We’re good, but not that good) and dedicated a whole day to stop by each department and film the short clips which would later feature in the video. (more…)
