Renting a bike in BenalmadenaIf you’re looking for a fun and very healthy activity next time you come to Benalmadena on holiday, we highly recommend renting a bicycle and exploring some of the town’s main attractions whilst reaping the health benefits of this fun mode of transport.

The area offers something for all levels. Beginners and leisure riders can enjoy the relative flatness of the stunning promenade. More experienced riders or a beginners with hybrid bikes, who are looking for more of a challenge can head into the hills behind Benalmadena and attempt one of the harder bike routes (see below) which will take them along narrow mountain paths offering stunning views of the coast. The Museum of Malaga: The City’s New Cultural Jewel

museo-de-malagaAs of last Monday the 12th December 2016, Málaga city boasts a stunning new museum to add to its’ – already impressive – collection: The Museum of Malaga.

The new museum is located in the ‘Palacio de la Aduana’, the old Custom’s building. The original museum closed 20 years ago (almost to the day) and the opening date is no coincidence as it marks the 19th anniversary of the first demonstration demanding that the Customs building be used for cultural purposes. You Can Now View the Costa del Sol’s 70+ Golf Courses in 360º

Now, after the success of this first phase of this ambitious project, they have just launched their new Golf 360º Tool which will offer a new and unique way to view the coast’s ample selection of golf courses which lovers of the sport can enjoy whilst holidaying on our ‘Costa del Golf’ 🙂 (more…)

The Torremolinos Oktoberfest: From the 20th to 23rd October

Oktoberfest Beer Festival in Torremolinos - 2016Our neighbours in Torremolinos will be celebrating the second edition of their ‘Oktoberfest’ beer festival from Thursday 20th October to Sunday 23rd October.

The event will be held in a large thousand square metre marquee located in ‘Plaza de la Nogalera’ and will be open to the public from 12pm til late every day. Visitors will be able to sample some of the World’s best beers as this year’s festival will have a special bar serving beers from all over the world including those made from wheat and barley, black beers and other select flavours. Another highlight this year will be the ‘Jägermeister’ tap serving shots of the famous herbal liqueur at -10ºC! (more…)
