Bioparc Zoo in Fuengirola is one of our favourite family attractions on the Costa del Sol and, as of last Friday, it’s going to be even better! Why? Because they have opened the spectacular new habitat designed to emulate the Indo-Pacific region.
This new exhibit will take visitors on a voyage from Asia to the Americas via the islands of the South Pacific. Featuring species from Java, Borneo, Bali, the Philippines, New Guinea and the Galapagos Islands, perhaps the most impressive new inhabitant of the Park is the Komodo Dragon – the largest one in the world! Golf season is in full swing (excuse the pun) here on the Costa del Sol and at Sunset Beach Club, we’re fortunate to have a steady stream of golfers booked in to our hotel. That being said, we have to keep promoting our wonderful destination so this Thursday, Annemie – from our Golf Desk – will be flying up to Edinburgh for this year’s Scottish Golf Show.
We’re regular exhibitors at this popular golf show and this year is no exception. Annemie will be on stand nº B7 and will be delighted to answer any questions or queries visitors may have about our hotel and golf on the Costa del Sol. If you are at the show, make sure you stop by and say hi as we’ll be giving away a fabulous 3 night winter break at Sunset Beach Club! (more…)

This rich bird life and the fact that there are over 10 million tourists who travel every year to bird watch make the promotion of the area as a top Bird Watching Holiday destination a logical step for the Malaga Province Tourist Board. (more…)

According to the Spanish Secretary of State for Security, less than one out of every thousand tourists who visit Spain are victims of crime; a low figure which contributes to Spain’s popularity as a safe and popular holiday destination.

These unfortunate incidences usually mean having to go to the police and file a report, phone banks to cancel credit cards and contact local consulates or embassies to report stolen passports. This could mean hours spent at the local police station without a qualified translator and valuable holiday time wasted. (more…)
