From the 10th to 19th May, Benalmadena will host the 5th edition of the Healthy Tapas Route to promote all the virtues of our famous Mediterranean Diet.

Organised by the Association of Local Businesses, the Benalmadena Town Hall, the Healthy Lifestyle Habits Group and the Andalucian Health Service, the Healthy Tapas Route also forms part of Benalmadena’s ‘Healthy City’ programme. Benalmadena celebrates the first edition of its Craft Beer Festival

Craft Beer Festival Benalmadena PuebloWe’re just a couple of days away from the start of the first edition of the Benalmadena Pueblo Craft Beer Festival, ‘Birra&Art’. From the 27th to the 29th July, from 7:00 pm to 01:00 am, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of craft beers, exquisite gastronomy and live music.

Located on the promenade just a 10-minute walk from Sunset Beach Club, this Moorish-looking building isn’t really a castle. Benalmadena’s Beaches Receive ‘Q’ Quality Award Certification

Q de Calidad Turistica Playas de BenalmadenaLast week the Mayor of Benalmadena, Paloma García Gálvez, was in Fitur travel fair last week to promote our beautiful municipality and to receive an important award: The ‘Q’ for Quality awarded to all the city’s urban beaches.

This highly regarded distinction has actually been visible on Benalmadena beaches since the summer; last weeks presentation just made the award official!

The beaches included in the award comprise all located on the stretch of coast which goes from Fuente de la Salud Beach all the way to the beach at Sunset Beach Club. (more…)
