‘La Noche en Blanco’ in Malaga: A Cultural Festival with 183 Free Activities

La Noche en Blanco Málaga 2019‘La Noche en Blanco’ (White Night) has established itself as one of Málaga city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 18th May – from 7:00 pm to 01:00 am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to an unbelievable selection of free cultural activities. 

This year’s event will have 183 different activities and spread out over more than 80 different locations throughout the city. All the activities are grouped into different categories and themes:

The ‘Fiesta de la Bicicleta’ (Bicycle Party) in Benalmadena: A Fun Day Out For All the Family

Fiesta de la Bicicleta en Benalmadena Next Sunday the 5th May, Benalmadena will host the 36th edition of its popular ‘Fiesta de la Bicicleta’ or Bicycle Party, one of the city’s oldest and most emblematic events in its busy sports calendar.

It’s not a race. The whole event is designed to be a fun family day out, fitting in perfectly with Benalmadena’s image as an idyllic destination for tourism and sports.

At the event’s press conference the mayor of Benalmadena, Victor Navas, pointed out that he and his team have made a strong commitment to promoting the city as the perfect destination for sports and tourism. There are now firm plans to create a cycle lane which will run from Torrequebrada to Carvajal along the old N-340 coast road; an amazing addition to Benalmadena’s tourist infrastructure which will help attract new visitors looking for a more active holiday mixed with the superb weather we enjoy in this wonderful part of Spain. Weekend of Soul & Motown in Benalmádena: Costa del Soul

As many of you know, for the last 11 years we’ve welcomed GoldSoul for their week-long Costa del Soul events. These usually take place at the end of October, and are, undeniably, the top soul music events on the Costa del Sol.

Building on the success of their autumn Costa del Soul holidays, GoldSoul recently added a new event to their calendar: a 5-day Soul and Motown Break!

Arroyo de la Miel is getting ready to celebrate the 36th edition of its famous ‘Carrera Urbana del Pavo’ (Urban Turkey Race) which will take place on Sunday the 16th December, 2018.

For the 10th year running, our friends at Goldsoul – well established UK Soul event promoters – are coming back for a fun week of the best tunes, lots of dancing and, of course, sunshine!!!

This year’s ‘Costa del Soul’ event promises to be the best yet. After the success of the extended 9 day event (It’s usually seven nights) this year Goldsoul have decided to repeat this winning formula and Costa del Soul will run from Friday 12th October to Saturday 20th October featuring some of the top DJ’s from the UK playing the greatest Soul Music Tunes throughout the day.

Soul music lovers can enjoy their daily dose of Classic Soul tunes by the hotel’s Tikki Poolside Bar whilst enjoying a cool jug of Sangria and working on their tans!
