Málaga Gastronomy Festival: The City’s Biggest Food Event

Malaga Gastronomy FestivalFrom the 24th May to the 27th May, the city of Málaga will host Andalucia’s most important gastronomic event: Malaga Gastronomy Festival.

This will be the 5th edition of this festival which is a strategic project for the city of Málaga, its province and Andalucía. The objective of making the city a gastronomic reference is slowly becoming a reality with yearly growth in terms of content for the festival and the level of chefs taking part.

Charity Concert at Sunset Beach Club: A Night at the Movies

On Saturday 26th May 2018, our Moonlight Theatre will host “Night at the Movies”, a charity concert in aid of three children’s charities.

‘La Noche en Blanco’ in Malaga: A Cultural Festival with Over 200 Free Activities

Noche in Blanco - White Night in Malaga‘La Noche en Blanco’ (White Night) has established itself as one the city’s most important cultural events. On Saturday 12th May – from 8:00 pm to 02:00 am – all who visit the Costa del Sol’s capital will be treated to an unbelievable selection of free cultural activities. 

This year’s event will have 204 different activities and spread out over more than 100 different locations throughout the city. All the activities are grouped into different categories and themes:

The ‘Fiesta de la Bicicleta’ (Bicycle Party) in Benalmadena: A Fun Day Out For All the Family

Fiesta de la Bicicleta en Benalmadena Next Sunday the 22nd April, Benalmadena will host the 35th edition of its popular ‘Fiesta de la Bicicleta’ or Bicycle Party, one of the city’s oldest and most emblematic events in its busy sports calendar.

It’s not a race. The whole event is designed to be a fun family day out, fitting in perfectly with Benalmadena’s image as an idyllic destination for tourism and sports.

At the event’s press conference the mayor of Benalmadena, Victor Navas, pointed out that he and his team have made a strong commitment to promoting the city as the perfect destination for sports and tourism. There are now firm plans (the project goes out to tender this year) to create a cycle lane which will run from Torrequebrada to Carvajal along the old N-340 coast road; an amazing addition to Benalmadena’s tourist infrastructure which will help attract new visitors looking for a more active holiday mixed with the superb weather we enjoy in this wonderful part of Spain. For the 9th year running, our friends at Goldsoul – well established UK Soul event promoters – are coming back for a fun week of the best tunes, lots of dancing and, of course, sunshine!!!

This year’s ‘Costa del Soul’ event promises to be the best yet. After the success of last year’s extended 9 day event (It’s usually seven nights) this year Goldsoul have decided to repeat this winning formula and Costa del Soul will run from Friday 13th October to Saturday 21st October featuring some of the top DJ’s from the UK playing the greatest Soul Music Tunes throughout the day.

Soul music lovers can enjoy their daily dose of Classic Soul tunes by the hotel’s Tikki Poolside Bar whilst enjoying a cool jug of Sangria and working on their tans!
