If you’re staying at Sunset Beach Club and are thinking of visiting the stunning city of Ronda, this summer we’re offering a fantastic new excursion called Ronda Romántica (Romantic Ronda).
As you can probably tell by the name, it’s an excursion with a romantic touch which will allow you to enjoy the city’s streets and monuments, both in daylight and when night falls. However, what stands out on this excursion is being able to experience the magical sunsets from a privileged position, one that few people have access to… the roof of the Santa María church. (more…)

It’s just over 5 years since we first asked our Sunset Beach Club Facebook fans what restaurants they could recommend in Benalmadena. We wrote a blog post with their answers which over the years has been viewed by thousands of people; however, we felt it needed updating…
So a couple of weeks ago we asked our fans the same question and we’ve included their answers in the blog post below. As you can see, we had a great response. We hope it’ll serve as a great guide for anyone thinking of staying at Sunset Beach Club – or any other Benalmadena hotel – in the future.

Sunset Beach Club is a very popular hotel for celebrating a wedding in Spain. This year alone we had more than 85 happy couples who celebrated their big day with us and next year we have another 83 weddings booked!
Many of these Brides and Grooms who have chosen to get married in this gorgeous part of Spain tend to fly over from Ireland or the UK which, under normal circumstances, can be a logistical nightmare! Planning a wedding in your home country is hard enough, but doing so in a foreign country can be especially challenging. (more…)

If you’re planning on visiting Torremolinos and need tips on what to see, we highly recommend a visit to ‘La Casa de los Navajas’ a stunning building which has become one of the most emblematic in Torremolinos.
This unique mini-palace stands out as you walk along the promenade thanks to its ‘neomudéjar’ style architecture (Popular in Spain at the end of the 19th century and start of the 20th century) and Arabic influences. Building the house was the lifelong dream of its owner, Antonio Navaja Cruz, a local sugar cane farmer who built it in 1925. (more…)

If you’re looking for a fun and very healthy activity next time you come to Benalmadena on holiday, we highly recommend renting a bicycle and exploring some of the town’s main attractions whilst reaping the health benefits of this fun mode of transport.
The area offers something for all levels. Beginners and leisure riders can enjoy the relative flatness of the stunning promenade. More experienced riders or a beginners with hybrid bikes, who are looking for more of a challenge can head into the hills behind Benalmadena and attempt one of the harder bike routes (see below) which will take them along narrow mountain paths offering stunning views of the coast. As of last Monday the 12th December 2016, Málaga city boasts a stunning new museum to add to its’ – already impressive – collection: The Museum of Malaga.
The new museum is located in the ‘Palacio de la Aduana’, the old Custom’s building. The original museum closed 20 years ago (almost to the day) and the opening date is no coincidence as it marks the 19th anniversary of the first demonstration demanding that the Customs building be used for cultural purposes.
